Our concrete batching plants in Almere, Eemshaven, Groningen and Utrecht produce sustainable concrete containing at least 30% recycled concrete aggregate (RCA), including megablocks, stabilised sand and mass concrete.

Certified concrete
Our concrete products fully comply with all applicable standards. In addition, all of our concrete plants are CSC Gold certified—a quality label that confirms our commitment to sustainable production at the highest level. Our secondary aggregates are CSC Silver certified, demonstrating that we operate in a responsible and transparent manner throughout the entire raw materials supply chain.

MKI values for concrete
The Theo Pouw Group uses a KIWA-certified system, based on BRL K11002, to determine MKI values. The MKI values for our concrete mixes are provided in the form of a manufacturer’s declaration and can be validated externally upon request.
We have four validated standard concrete mixes. In these mixes, we make optimal use of our own secondary, KOMO-certified raw materials, in compliance with applicable regulations. This allows us to achieve the lowest possible MKI score without compromising the quality of the end product.

Megablocks and more
Our mega blocks are available in many sizes (such as 80×40×80 or 160×80×40, with or without lugs). They can be used for retaining walls, trench silos, temporary storage facilities, and road barriers, among other things. They combine stability with flexibility in use.
